Smallmatek joined the RESINSURF Summer School, organised by CICECO – Aveiro Institute of Materials as part of the RESINSURF project. Held over five days, the Summer School brought together researchers, students and industry professionals to share knowledge, present the project's latest progress and discuss the challenges of developing more sustainable, high-performance solutions for corrosion protection. By combining lectures with practical laboratory sessions, the programme offered a valuable opportunity to connect theory with practice and explore different surface treatment techniques and methodologies. Smallmatek also contributed to the programme through a presentation by its CEO, Frederico Maia, who showcased the company's work on conversion coatings and discussed the role of Layered Double Hydroxides (LDHs) in innovative corrosion protection solutions.
