Last April, Smallmatek organised a training session on fire safety awareness and basic life support in partnership with the Humanitarian Association of Aveiro Velhos Volunteer Firefighters. The main objective of this initiative was to strengthen employees’ knowledge and skills in dealing with emergency situations, contributing to a more effective response in the workplace. The training also helped raise awareness of the importance of prevention, quick response, and the adoption of good safety practices in day-to-day work. Smallmatek believes that investing in continuous training is also investing in people’s safety, promoting a safer, better-prepared, and more safety-conscious working environment.
Smallmatek participated in the 14th International Workshop “Application of Electrochemical Techniques to Organic Coatings.”
Smallmatek – Small Materials and Technologies, Lda. achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification.
The research, carried out at Smallmatek, was developed within the EngIQ PhD Programme in Refining, Petrochemical and Chemical Engineering, which fosters close collaboration between academia and industry with a strong focus on industrial research.
